This journey is designed as a way into the tropical rainforest in search of some of its most striking and enigmatic species. Along the experience, it is possible to encounter poison frogs such as Oophaga solanensis, Phyllobates aurotaenia, Dendrobates auratus, and Andinobates fulguritus, as well as other amphibians such as Atelopus spurrelli, reptiles, and other associated wildlife that inhabit this extraordinary ecosystem.
The route includes a stop at natural hot springs in the middle of the rainforest, adding a sense of pause and contrast within a day shaped by observation, respect for the environment, and wonder at the life that emerges along the way.
